SL-M3 Technics Quartz Direct Drive Linear Tonearm Turntable, Like New Condition, I worked for Technics in NYC for 25 years. This was a sample for a photo shoot for Stereo Review Magazine. Unit Was shipped to Magazine and then packed up and shipped back. Unit is in mint condition , except for 2 minor spots due to bad packing on trip back. One is a brush mark under the platter, I guess due to weight of the platter, that it rubbed on surface. Can not be seen under platter about an inch long. The second is also I believe due to platter not packed right, it is also about an inch long on tonearm control body on inside. Brush mark very small. Tonearm is still locked in with packing screws. Dust Cover is in good shape but has s few brush marks from handling, not putting protective sheet on it as well as platter moving underneath. Glad to answer any questions you may have. Plugged it in turns on no problem,Has been in storage. Will Pack it up top notch to ship. Cartridge of course is not included. This is very rare especially in this condition. Have seen a few on here that have been used a lot .

| What is a "brush mark"? I gather no brush is actually involved. I gather we are dealing with "scuffs" here?
Thanks. Thanks for your interest, No not a brush, a scuff that is very light under the platter mostly but about 20% visible beyond platter. I think you may be able to easy buff it away completely or majority. Its very light but wanted to be completely upfront. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have. Thanks Les |
