I am parting with my beloved Schiit Freya tube preamp, which is upgraded with a hand-matched set of new old stock RCA 6SN7-GTB tubes from Vintage Tube Services in Rockford, Michigan.
This unit is perfectly clean, in as-new condition, with box, remote, and user manual.
The Freya was $700 new, and I purchased it directly from Schiit. I am asking $550 including the upgraded tubes, which were $236 as a set. See the attached invoice for the tubes.
The tubes made a huge difference in the sound of this unit. It was good before. It's silky and wonderful since the upgrade, with slightly punchier output, a much lower noise floor, and significantly reduced microphonics. I used this with both a Schiit Vidar power amp and an older B&K ST-202 and the results were very good with both.
I will ship via UPS Ground (at no cost to you) to anywhere in the lower 48 continental US. The tubes will be packed in their own original boxes and then safely wrapped with bubble wrap and packing, and inserted alongside the unit inside the same shipping box. All documentation included.
