Ultra-Rare opportunity to buy a pair of AVM Audio’s highly regarded monoblock amplifiers, the Evolution M5, mostly only ever available in Germany, so truly a rare find in the US.  The provenance is one owner who used them sparingly, with production sequence matching serial numbers.  In mint new-like condition, operationally breathtaking and priced below Bluebook Trade-In.

These glorious monoblock amps are known for so many things, starting with a no-nonsense flat response that just gets out of the way, making them a reference component in the building of a high-end system. 

The Evolution M5 amplifiers can drive any speaker load to enormous power levels, and visibly shows load rating in real-time on each amplifiers display.  At 550 watts per channel at 2 ohms, 300 watts at 4 ohms and 180 watts at 8 ohms, the Evolution M5s are power-punching and high-current driving machines.  At approximately 13” X 12” X 5”, each amp is compact but yet still super robust at a whomping 40lbs each.

The versatility of the M5 amplifiers allow the user to set speaker-impedance as a preset on the display to achieve the correct readings and also show energy usage.

The Evolution M5 amplifiers are a marvel of German engineering that are Auto Sensing and provide asymmetric (RCA single-ended) and true symmetric (balanced) input.  The speaker connectors are 5-Way post and each amp can support Bi-Wiring using pairs of high-quality, fully insulated sockets made by WBT.
