Berkeley Audio Reference Alpha DAC and USB

I purchased this from an Audiogon member just under 4 years ago. DAC and USB unit have worked flawlessly at all times. I installed the MQA upgrade , this upgrade not only provides MQA rendering, but a VERY noticeable improvement in 16/44 playback. If you like MQA ,I believe you will like the improvement of the 16/44 playback... This sale not only is for the DAC but also the AlPHA USB unit. These two units really work well together.(of coarse )....Berkeley suggests using 1.5 meter length of the USB cable and suggests using 1.5 meter for the suggested AES cable. There is NO upgrade path for any Reference DAC at this time. The Reference 2 and now the Reference 3 have not impressed the reviewers like this unit did...Of coarse the 2 and 3 are better units , but if your using this unit I believe you are getting most of the Berkeley " Magic ".   ( I will pay for UPS ground shipping in USA , if you want something else its on you!)
