Here is a super mint set of the newest largest speakers Quad ever made.  In factory boxes - unopened since they returned from Quad.
These speakers were just %100 rebuilt by Quad, using all new zero time panels. These are as close to new as you will find.
They are in factory packing and can be picked up or shipped by freight. Freight and pickup is your responsibility.
I love these speakers but they are too big for my new room.  The are fantastic electrostatic speakers.  I was driving them with dual 200W mono-blocks and they were thunderous.  Super accurate a total joy to listen to.
New today they cost $13,999.00 if you can find a pair.
Best way to find me is using email [email protected]

Questions for the seller
Total needed of rebuild in such a short why? Is it true about the low quality of these speakers compared to the ESL 63's and 57's when built in England not CHINA.
They were fantastic for about two years. Then started making popping sound. Turns out there was a problem with the glue used on the panels. Quad stopped shipping new ones. Fixed the glue problem. I insisted they replace not just the 2 bad panels but all of them. At the time I was the Quad dealer for Maine. I believe 100% of ESL’s built in the last few years have the problem. As far as quality, if it were not for the glue issue I think they are very well made. The glue is the what holds the mylar diaphragm to the frame. The glue does a lot of work holding the vibrating mylar to the plastic frame. The made in China thing is only a problem (I think) if the product is purposefully designed to be cheap. There is nothing cheap about these speakers. The weigh a lot and the finishes are super nice. As I understand it Quad is replacing all the panels in all the speakers under warrantee.
