Custom built Lenco L75 based turntable in Pennsylvania slate. This was custom built for me by a gentleman that has built many custom turntables before, and his work is meticulous. The plinth is Pennsylvania slate and cut to his specifications with a water jet. It is a full 2 inches thick and measures 19” X 22”. It weighs about 80 lbs with motor and plinth. It is designed to accommodate a 9” tonearm ( top position) and a 12” tonearm ( side position). The tonearm and cartridge shown in the photos are not included in the price. I have one blank arm board and one arm board drilled for a Reed 3P for the 9” position. For the 12” side/parallel position, I have one blank arm board, one arm board drilled for a Reed 3P, and one arm board drilled for an SME M2-12-R. All arm boards are made of panzerholz. Now for the upgrades: 1) it has the Lenco L75 heavy platter 2) it has the Lenco L75 motor that was serviced and upgraded with new bearings. 3) it has the Audio Silente idler wheel 4) it has the Peter Reinders top plate (PTP 6) 5) it has the SPH tall bearing and a recently serviced stock bearing included. The SPH tall bearing requires taller footers than the stock footers that come with the table. 6) it comes with 4 custom made footers to set it on. I waited 8 months for this due to the pandemic and other issues. I’ve only had it for two months and really enjoyed the idler drive sound. So much so, that I ordered a Jean Nantais Refernce Lenco MkIII. I need to sell this table to help pay for the one that I have on order. I only see one very tiny mark in the slate. It’s on the top of the plinth and it’s very small. This is a very good deal at my asking price. It’s less than what I paid for the various parts. This table runs super smoothly and quiet. No issues! Just to be clear, this does not include the tonearm, phono cartridge, or sandbox. This ad is for the turntable, 4 footers, and record mat. I will pack it carefully for shipping and will only ship to the U.S.. No lowball offers please.
