9000 replaces the highly regarded Shelter 90X. The Shelter 90X has
accumulated multiple awards including The Absolute Sound's 2004 Golden Ear, Phono Cartridge of the Year & 2004, 2005 & 2006 Editor's Choice Awards from Stereophile Magazine!


The Shelter 9000's new cartridge design technology allows the
cartridge to reach new levels of dynamics and quietness for a smooth and
effortless sonic presentation. The Shelter 9000 is a complete departure
from the current line of Shelter cartridges. Newly designed body, high
rigidity, improved front-yoke, larger diameter PC-OCC lead wires wound
around the redesigned bobbin.
