Tube amplifiers don’t have to be old-fashioned at all - the Waversa WVpre MK2 demonstrates this clearly. This beautiful and simple designed tube preamplifier blends the pleasant and natural sound quality of the Western Electronic 408A vacuum tubes with a high-precision digital volume control.  Of course, the Waversa WVpre MK2 relies on fully balanced signal processing and pairs ideally with their interchange transformer 300b monoblock.  With its probably unbeatably aesthetics - housing made of solid aluminum and without visible screws simply has to occupy an exposed place on every hi-fi rack.

Brimar Smoked Glass 1950s – Similar to the Tung-Sol but with more mid-range bloom and less well-defined bass.

If Available, GEC 1950s - Ask about availability at time of sale.  This tube falls at the opposite end of the spectrum from the Tung-Sol, with the warmest presentation of the lot. Because they are the extreme outlier, we opted not to secure a quantity of these, and they may not be in stock.

The Waversa WVpower MK2 with 300B equipment is the ultimate balance of tube amplification. Their seamlessly constructed aluminum chassis without visible screws are subtle and elegant yet functional giving them great rigidity rendering the signal-carrying circuits insensitive to harmful vibrations.  This amp design incorporates a full balanced inter-stage with 6H30Pi tube with Lundahl inter-stage transformer which allows for zero feedback and eliminates one gain stage tube ensuring the purist signal amplification without distortion.  An LCD screen shows the current status of the output tube, driver tube (6H30Pi) and the current setting of the output tube in real-time. Of course, the WVpower MK2 has truly symmetrical and unbalanced inputs.
