Technics SP10-MK3 Turntable, 2 arm plinth. NEW FA6042 chip INCLUDED!

Finally made time to build another batch of Technics SP-10MK3 plinths and they are ready for adoption. 
 
Here is a complete Mk3 system ready for your or our tonearms. The plinth is my latest design. One of the features is adjustable height armboards. Technics turntables tend to have a shallow platter to top of armboard height if the armboard surface is at the same height as the top of the plinth. Most vintage Japanese tonearms and several modern arms will work fine this way. However, a good number current manufacture arms need a 30mm or so platter to armboard height differential. You will see most MK2 and MK3 plinths have a severely lowered armboard for this reason. Not here, unless you need it. This plinth allows for armboard height adjustment in 3mm steps so you can have the perfect armboard height for whatever arm you choose.
These armboards also offer a choice of inner or outer pivot points. In other words the armboards can articulate out from the center or from the outside of the plinth. Again, to help optimize tonearm setup and ease of installation. 
 
The power supply for this MK3 has been fully gone through. Every capacitor has been replaced with high quality replacements. The infamous MN6042 speed control chip has been replaced with the Fidelis Analog FA6042 speed chip. This is a serious improvement for the MK3's speed consistency. Any other suspect parts have been replaced as well. 
 
This power supply was originally a 100v(as are most) unit but has been changed over to 120v so no step down transformer is needed. I would rate the condition of the outside of the power supply as an 8. Inside, it is a 10. Plug and play! 
 
To keep the sporty/sleek look of the plinth, I have given it a low profile with NO loss of sonics or added noise. The tradeoff is that most 9 inch arms will not fit on this plinth. There isn't room for the wire/DIN fitting under the armboard for a 9" arm, unless you use a Tri-Planar, Reed, Schröder Ref or other surface mount style arm. Any 12" arm will work perfect and I do highly recommend a 12" arm on the MK3.  I have several 12" Reed arms available that can be included as a package deal.
 
This MK3 system(and this design is a genuine system that has all parts working in harmony) is different from any other complete MK-3 you'll see in many ways. One of the biggest differences is I attach the motor assembly directly to a specific material in the plinth which drains most of the motor's excess energy to the included Stillpoints feet so it can't get to the tonearm/cartridge or back to the record itself. This results in a new level of quiet and black backgrounds when playing music. It also adds to the dynamics in a very good way. I do have the original top aluminum square housing if you want it.  
 
The black paint on the plinth is so shiny and clean, you could use it as mirror when not playing music. This model is truly one of the best looking and best sounding turntables anywhere, at any price. 
 
I will guarantee the operation of TT and power supply for one full year.
