Miyajima Kansui Moving Coil Cartridge – Factory wired w/SME cartridge
leads – Original owner. 500 – 600 hours. I purchased this cartridge new
from an Indonesian dealer because I couldn’t find this model available
in the US. I felt the sound would have more presence if the cartridge
leads were directly connected to the cartridge. Specifically made to be
mounted in a headshell, not directly onto a tonearm. (See photos). Price
includes a natural wood Orotofon LH 8000 pictured in photos ($200
retail). Ortofon headshell leads are included so the headshell can be
used with other cartridges.
I listen to jazz, classical and rock
music and I agree with this 10audio review. I only found a better
sounding cartridge when I moved up the Miyajima line to the Madake. “The
coherence and solidity of the sound stage is noticeably improved,
endowing each and every performer with more individuality, more charm.
The supreme resolution in the upper frequencies offers a character that
is the very essence of sweetness and light. Importantly, the entire
presentation is lacking any harshness, glare, grain or any forwardness
that even hints at problems anywhere in the audible frequency range. The
result is to move one giant step closer to the sound of live music. No,
we are not (quite) there yet, but at this level of artificial reality,
the Kansui offers a reasonable alternative to the enjoyment, not to
mention the logistical effort and expense, of attending a concert.” For
me, this meant a naturally rich midrange, extended highs and deep
defined bass. All music has a very appealing impact in my system.

Thank you for your interest. Sorry. I do not know if the cables can be replaced with pins. You would need to ask a technician. The cables seem to be connected inside the cartridge body.
I have a Jensen step-up transformer for sale on Audiogon that I used with this cartridge. It sounds excellent and does not use electricity. So it can work in any country. I will give you a deal if you purchase both. $1750 USD. Plus shipping and fees.
