Daedalus Audio Orpheus

Up for sale is my Daedalus Audio Orpheus speakers.  I am selling to move up to the bigger Daedalus Zeus Speakers.

The Orpheus is a special model from Daedalus with only a few being built.  This particular set is likely the best looking speaker that Daedalus has ever built with a highly figured walnut hardwood.

Dimensions of the speaker: 11"W, 16.25" D, 56" H (With Stillpoints Ultra SS)  The stock feet and outrigger would add around 0.5"-1".

There are rear firing ambience drivers on the back of the cabinet.  I believe these are the only Daedalus Model that has had them.  This is something that I am really going to miss.  There is a 3 Position Switch on the back of the cabinet (High, Low and Normal) for the ambience Level, also a phase switch with an off position.  I uploaded a picture.

These speakers have all the v.2 updates and are able to be updated further with the newest tweeters and mid-range trim rings  If they don’t sell that is the road I am heading down.  If the buyer prefers, I can ship them directly to Daedalus for the newest revisions.

As far as positioning, I have to be honest, I have never tried to get them close to a wall.  Since bass wise, they are close to the Ulysses you can look through the forum or give Lou at Daedalus a call to get other experiences.  I think 3' from rear wall and sitting at least 8' from speakers is a good start. 

Includes original outriggers and spikes.  Stillpoints Ultra SS feet not included unless we negotiate.  

I have the original boxes and shipping will be determined before purchase.  I would drive a long way to meet up with you to deliver the speakers.  Speakers are in Houston area.

At list price I will include shipping or hand delivery and an 8' set of Wywires Silver Level Banana/ Banana Speaker Cables.  There is a certain synergy between Wywires and Daedalus.
