Music Hall Dac 25.3

A move to powered speakers has led to me to sell my headphone setup. The 25.3 has less than 200 hours of use on it. It was a wonderful match for my Wells Audio Milo (which is also for sale on Audiogon), as the liquidity of the tube balanced the power of the Milo. Listening primarily to classical music and movie soundtracks was a pleasurable experience. I never felt the complex lines in those genres of music were compromised in their presentation.

Before taking delivery on the 25.3 I had Jeff Wells of Wells Audio perform what he called a Level 1 modification, which included an upgraded tube. You will have to contact him regarding the details of the mod. The cost was $249 above retail.

I tried to show the one minor flaw in the chassis as best as I could, and you would have to be very close to the unit to see it.
