Von Schweikert Audio Supertweeters

VSA RST-5 supertweeters (ribbons are 5” tall) in gorgeous piano black cabinets. As profound complements to a full-range system, these mount on top any flat main speaker cabinet and are designed to enhance performance, heightening resolution, soundstage size and depth, as well as tightening bass. Used in combination with VSA VR-44 or VR-55 speakers, these supertweeters raise performance near the level of VSA’s Ultra series, which in fact incorporates the RST supertweeters in a single cabinet with all of its drivers.  I used them with my VR-44 Aktive speakers to excellent effect. 

One visible flaw. One of the pair has its protective mesh grill pushed in but not touching the ribbon. It does not affect performance whatsoever. 

Another micro-flaw is a pin-line scratch just under 1” long in the finish of the top of one cabinet.
