I have owned many Audio Research high-end amps (tube & solid state. For what it's worth, this one stayed as the others went. Black, powerful, drives Maggies with ease. Smoke free environment. All Original parts, no issues. Photo of face plate corner is a rub, not a nick. Black marker makes it dissapear completely. Not noticeable anyway from the front.
