POA-3000RG: 9/10 Condition (SEE NOTE BELOW) 250 W/channel Stereo, 500 W/channel Bridged Mono (8 ohms) Stereo Inputs: 1 Pair SE RCA (Direct Switchable), 1 Pair Balanced XLR Mono Inputs: 1 SE RCA, 1 Balanced XLR Outputs: Speaker A - Binding Posts, Speaker B - 5-Way Binding Posts (SEE NOTE BELOW)
PRA-2000RG: 9/10 Condition Inputs: 4 SE RCA, 1 Balanced XLR, 1 Moving Magnet, 1 Moving Coil Outputs: 1 SE RCA, 1 Balanced XLR Tape Loops: 2 SE RCA
These components were dealer display models for their entire lives, occasionally used to demo speakers in a showroom environment. They are close to "new" condition, complete with factory packaging and inserts. Also included, and pictured, is a velour dealer display mat. The only flaws are faint swirls in the finish, that are only visible through close inspection in bright light. All unused XLR jack covers are present, as are Moving Coil shorting plugs. All switch functions and indicator lights work. The VU meters are fully functional, and very closely matched (factory calibration).
These components have passed functional and listening tests in a normal "hi-fi" environment. In several sessions with them, they have proven to be as beautiful sounding as they are to look at. Denon put an extraordinary amount of solid engineering into these, and it truly shows. They absolutely deserve to be heard.
PLEASE NOTE: Years ago the speaker "B" terminal blocks were cracked on the amplifier. So in preparation for the sale they were replaced with custom manufactured terminal blocks that are an exact fit. The new ones are 5-way binding post style, rather than the original compression terminal style. While not "audiophile boutique", they are of excellent quality, superior to the stock terminals.
