Looks like a 10 to me but conservatively rated out of caution. I am the second owner but there are only 905 hours of total use; approximately 20 hours of that is by me. I purchased this preamp as a placeholder pending the delayed shipping of a new ARC Reference 6SE, but my new preamp arrived earlier than expected. Original box, packaging, remote, power cord, manual. Excellent performing preamp; excellent condition. Many reviews - all superlative.
I dropped my original asking price by $200 and I am swapping out the LS-28 remote for a brand new ARC Reference 6/6SE remote; it has the same controls and will control the LS-28.
You might eventually find another LS-28 in this condition for a little less money, but probably not with only 905 hours.

| Are these 2 owners in a short period of time? Yes. I purchased it from the first owner 3 or 4 weeks ago based on my dealer telling me that my new preamp will not ship until November due to backorders. It came early. |
