A beautiful sounding and looking tube amplifier for an affordable price. I bought this to use in my second all analogue system and the sound of the tubes is sweet and smooth. Comes with KT-88 tubes and looks and sounds as good (maybe better due to break-in) as new. 36 watts per channel with KT-88’s but can be used with virtually any power tube. This was my first tube amplifier and as a result of the experience I am trading up to a McIntosh unit to drive my main 2.0 system (which has a McIntosh pre-amp). I wish I could keep this one as well but need the $ for next upgrade. You will not be disappointed. Unit looks new, sounds great and is very easy to use with the self-biasing circuit. $1,400 new; a great deal for you at $800 given condition and low hours.
