Stax ECP-1

STAX ECP-1 electret condenser preamplifier for sale. This is the highest quality (by sound) and the most sophisticated (by schematics) EC phono I've ever owned. By schematics I would call this one in top 5 of all phono preamps I've owned.

The Stax ECP-1 works well with all Aurex, Micro Acoustics, Win Labs, Panasonic and Technics cartridges. 

Aurex C404 one of the  best sounding electret condenser systems
for sale. Not MM or MI cartridges sound as good as Aurex c-404. Boron
cantilever with Shibata stylus make every record breath. The sound is very airy
and dimensional. One of my clients said once- Now I know how High- End sounds.
He said this after using Koetsu and Lyra for 20 years.

This particular cartridge has been installed
and played for 30 records only. It comes with Aurex Monostractural shell. I can
separate these on request.

The Stax ECP-1 has enough gain to play all electret condenser cartridges
better than any other EC systems I've heard. it is rare as hell even in Japan.
