A very Rare and Special opportunity to own the best Blue Circle High End Audio Components ever made. I have the Blue Circle BC-26 amp and BC 3.1 preamp as a family with the Blue Circle BC-62 power cord, Blue Circle XLR interconnect cord, the Blue Circle BC86 Noise Hound, and one Harmonic Technology Fantasy AC cord. This Blue Circle family was paired with a VPI Aries turntable/Lyra Helicon SL cartridge into Magnepan 3.6 speakers with REL Strata subwoofer. As much as I love the sound and the quality of these built-to-last components, I am moving into a more digital friendly system and hoping to find a good, single home for these incredible products. The Blue Circle BC-26 amp performance is fantastic with the power to capture transients and generate incredible bass with musicality and smoothness. The BC-26 amp is solid state with 200 watts of power at 8 ohms (400 watts into 4 ohms) from this 85 pound amplifier with the 50 pound transformer (see pictures). The sound is very close to what you would find with the best tube amps. I have replacement light bulbs included. The highly regarded Blue Circle Galatea with the BC 3.1 tube preamp and the BCGS 3.1 outboard power supply has been reviewed as an essentially neutral sound that has detailed resolution with crispness in the highs and tightness in the bass. The Blue Circle Galatea combination is supremely musical and utterly non-fatiguing to quote one review, and comes with the highly regarded BC-62 AC cord. I have 2 additional replacement 6922 tubes and light bulbs included. The Blue Circle quality of solid build with simplicity of execution place these products in the hierarchy of the very finest high end amps and preamps, though at a more reasonable price relative to their level of performance. The products have been checked over and are fully functional. I have an extra pair of the 6922 tubes for the preamp, extra light bulbs, Cardas RCA caps (for unused inputs) and Cardas XLR connectors (for the preamp inputs), and the Blue Circle BC-62 power cord. Special package price for all components will be $3,900.00 total. BC-26 Amp component price is $2,100.00 versus $4,600.00 MSRP. BC Galatea Preamp package is also $2,100.00 versus $4,650.00 MSRP. I can consider paying for shipment in the 48 contiguous states at the prices listed but I would prefer a local metro Atlanta pickup if possible with a discount. I have original packaging for each model and I am very motivated to sell this package. I am will to consider all reasonable offers and will answer your questions. Pictures have been updated after cleaning the amp front panel and there are more available for viewing.
Questions for the seller
May seek stupid, but remote volume control?
Hello dvd-man. I am sorry to say no remote control with this state of the art tube preamp. In fact, two of the knobs are right and left volume, and the other two are right and left input selectors. Pure, simple, clean, and musical sound equality at its best.

A lovely piece. Just one question. Why does the amp have xlr in but the preamp doesn’t have xlr out? It seems that they should especially since they are made for each other by the same company. Thx
I honestly do not know the answer as I acquired this system from a very good friend who could no longer use it due to downsizing. I can tell you the sound has been fantastic with the Magnepan speakers and the best vinyl system. I have had the complete system for a while and loved the sound. My family wants more digital in our system and the Blue Circle preamp is excellent but basic. The Cardas RCA to XLR connectors have been nearly perfect. I do know the later generation of the BC-26 amp added the RCA input jacks. These could be separated and sold individually but I wanted to start out to offer the complete family for one buyer. I hope that helps and please let me know if you will give the package serious consideration. Let me know if I can answer anything else. Thanks.
