I just built this 28 inch USB cable using the outstanding sounding Helix design principles. This one is not powered....,no 5v conductor. Your dac must be able to provide its own 5v source internally. Many dacs do just that.
Duelund 20 gauge stranded copper in cotton data conductors combined with deep cryo treated 16 gauge silver plated, pure stranded copper in Teflon outer Helix conductor.
Just a fantastic sounding USB cable that will please. Wonderful value.
