Jitariu, owner and designer for Rockna Audio, is something of a digital
wizard. Nicolae Jitariu and has previously preformed design work for
Goldmund, PS Audio and MSB, so it was inevitable that a Rockna Audio
would eventually appear. Rockna Audio's current top Dac, the Wavedream
Signature DAC, is considered among the top DACs in the world. The
matching Rockna Wavedream Net server is also a phenomenal work of art
and when you combine the Rockna Signature dac and Rockna WD Net server
together with their matching clocks and I2s cable, you have a world
class digital front end. This ad is for Rockna Audio's latest creation
and perhaps the best DAC available under $5000 USD. The Rockna Wavelight
DAC is very special and what separates it from the other similarly
priced digital products is the 40 years of digital experience by Nicolae
Jitariu. There are many DACs available that can play the music but most
are not musical. We've tested 89 different digital front ends and it
has been an educational experience to say the least. There were a lot of
expensive digital products that we A/B tested that sounded good but
were not musically involving. In other words, they played the music but
they were NOT musical. Rockna's designer, Nicolae Jitariu, builds his
digital products from the ground up and this really does make this
manufacturer unique. You can go off the stats and everything can look
the same on paper from many other manufacturers that build digital to
analog converters but there are very few digital manufactures that can
actually allow you to listen to the music and enjoy the music rather
