Big powerful amps do not get any better than this. The A32 from Swedish high end audio manufacturer, Primare, is a big and physically dominating amp. It measures 17″ wide, 22″ deep and 9″ tall and weighs a hefty 90lbs. Bulk of that weight is due to the heavy gauge steel chassis and the massive 2000VA toroidal transformer that powers the two channels. In 8 ohms the A32 can produce 250W and in 4 ohms, 400W. This is more than sufficient to drive any speakers out there. There are many other features in the A32 that makes it a winner – like its dual mono with current feedback design, DC protection circuitry, short signal path etc, just to name a few. The Amp spent the 1st half of its life effortless powering a pair of Songs Faber Cremona with great east and control. There was just this relax demeanor in the amp where it flows with the incoming signal. With vocals, there was this richly textured mid-range, sweet highs and tight bottom end. With rock, it gave a thunderous display of its bass energy and detailed highs and mids. The A32 is not a fussy amp to match. It paired well with passive and active preamps and was adept with all genres of music. For $2,000 now, this is a winning ticket to some high end sound at mid-fi prices. Add the reliability of the Primare brand and you are buying into years of worry free enjoyment (unless of course you abuse it).

Questions for the seller
I have some interest in our amp, but curious about the shipping container as it’s a heavy item. Foam wrapped? Double boxed? I know the Primare brand.
I have the original box, foam and plastic jacket. The AMP is heavy, weighing approx 90lbs, where are you located?
How would this amp compare to the A35.2? Regards Paul
NOT heard that amp, its a mix of class A/B and D, I couldn't tell you. that amp was not in the line up when I purchased this. This AMP is a behemoth, weighs 90lbs. Its super quiet and can move any driver with easy. Very holographic, good space and measure between the stage and its instruments.. I like it, A LOT,, but I bought the NAD m33, which is a whole new level of product.
