Krell KAV500 5 CH Amp + Krell Audio Video Std. Pre-amp Combo

Purchased this equipment new around 2002 for over $15000 for our summer Chicago Gold Coast condo. Lightly used since we were only there 4 months out of the year and it was never stressed since high volume levels are not allowed in high-rise condo buildings.  Sold the condo in 2010 and just kept the equipment for the past 11 years in its original boxes in a guest room closet awaiting re-deployment.  
With Covid-19 and no further ambitions to have a second home in another city - it's just taking up space, so the two pieces are up for sale now.  Super nice condition - not a scratch or a ding. Clean as a whistle and they have been in non-smoking environments their entire lives.  Comes with remote in which batteries were removed long ago.  Recently tested everything works fine. 
A reputable audio dealer is selling the same equipment combination on Audiogon for over $5700, you can have my set for $2800 and use your savings on a new TV.
