preamp/dac. This DAC comes with $500 worth of upgrading tubes and the unit has approximately 600 hours on it. I've had 93 different DAC's in my reference room and there is not very many of tham I can recommend in regard to going DAC direct but this Ayon DAC has an excellent analogue preamp with a quadrable analogue volume control system preamp section and sounds great DAC direct. This DAC is also
very versatile and can be used as a streamer/server/DAC/pre. Rarely found on the used market and wonderful for Streaming Tidal.
