Sansui BA-2000 Stereo Power Amplifier. I bought my first Sansui equipment in the 1970s while in the military stationed overseas. I have always been a quad fanatic so I have two of these stereo BA-2000 power amps connected with a Sansui CA-3000 preamp and a Sansui QSD-2 Four Channel Synthesizer/Decoder for 110watts/channel x4.
I also have a third BA-2000 hooked to a QSD-1 and Sansui 9090 as my quad setup in the family room (also 110watts x 4). See my other auctions for the other two BA-2000 amps as I am selling all three since buying a smaller home I am downsizing. I used to live in a big old Victorian home with plenty of room to have a large listening room on all three floors.
Please look at the pictures and ask any questions. It is working fine and sounds great. Note: It is a bit dusty from sitting out on this shelving as you can probably see from the pictures. The last picture shows my current system with the preamp and two power amps (the four channel synthesizer/decoder is hidden from view in the enclosed shelf). The amps are cooled by two cooling fans hidden in the back of the shelves. BTW, I put blue LED lamps in the meters but can change back to green incandescent lamps if you prefer.
Electronically, all three BA-2000 amps that I have listed are better than new.

I used to be an electronics tech in the military back in the'70s when I bought my first Sansui overseas. Nowadays I don't have time and can't afford an o'scope, signal generator, and test equipment that a good tech needs, so I have only my multimeter and soldering station and tools for small jobs.
I’ve had all my Sansui equipment recapped/restored by Vintage Stereo Restorations of Eugene, OR (formerly QRX Restore). I have Justin Showker at Vintage Stereo Restorations do my Sansui restorations for me. His dad, the late Jim Showker founded QRXRestore a few years ago and over the years I've had my QRX-9001, QRX-999,QRX-8001, 9090, CA-3000, Model Eight, AU-999 (2ea), QSD-1, BA-3000 (2ea) andBA-2000 (3ea) all restored/recapped by Jim and/or Justin.
Check out http://www.qrxrestore.com/ for repair-steps and services regarding restoration. They are the best Sansui techs around. Bar none.
