Lampizator Big 7 Mk1 SE

This is an opportunity to experience a HUGE slice of the LampizatOr magic at a bargain price.  

 By the way, I upgraded the condition rating to 8 out of 10, as I rethought it and it certainly does not look used; it looks very clean and very good.  

You can see this DAC in my recent Positive Feedback review, "Rolling the Linlai E-300 and Psvane ACME 300B - An Aural Indulgence."  Granted, higher end tubes like the Linlai and Psvane ACME 300Bs really shine on this revealing DAC, however, you will be amazed at the performance with the Shuguang 300B-98Bs that come with it.   

Originally a Lampizator Lite 7 DAC, it was upgraded to a Big 7 Mk1 SE DAC at the Lampizator factory in the spring of 2020. It is a Generation 5 Level 7 Lampizator Big 7 DAC featuring the same Leszek Ogonowski LO D30-1 chokes that are used in the Lampizator Golden Gate and their flagship, the LampizatOr PACIFIC DAC, Jupiter Condenser Copper Foil and Wax capacitors, the RCA 5U4G rectifier tube, and a pair of Shuguang 300B 98B Mesh Anode tubes in the output stage, it is at once full-bodied, sweet and detailed with plenty of slam.  

This is an R2R DAC with the renowned Burr Brown PCM 1704 Dual Mono Chip.  

Of the digital engine, Lukasz Fikus informed me via email, “According to many people - your digital engine is the best there ever was. (I also think so). This is called 5742 and it is VERY musical.” 

It comes with a transferable three year warranty (excluding tubes) dated February 2020.

•Tube power supply with tube rectification based on the best 5C3S /5U4G / GZ34 / 274B vacuum diodes

•Separate transformer windings for tube circuit, separate transformer for digital part, separate secondary windings for every task

•DSD based on our best concept of using un-manipulated, filtered, raw, native datastream as signal.
