TW Acustic Raven One - rare opportunity, great table

At one time, the Raven One was the budget baby in the TW Acustic’s turntable line. For those who want high-end German engineering, from a revered turntable manufacturer, and little bling, this table is a perfect fit. 

Notable features:

• Heavy weight platter
• Heavy, one-piece, aluminum turntable plinth, with integrated motor
• One tonearm board that can be pivoted to accommodate 9” to 12” arms of any make
• Adjustable turntable feet
• Separate power supply, with 45 rpm, 33 rpm and adjustable speed

I have used this table with two 12” Ortofon tonearms and the 9” Kuzma 4-point. With each arm, the turntable’s unflappable character was the main event. Solid, consistent, deep and smooth-sounding. On lesser turntables, these characteristics would mean something was missing from the picture — but with the Raven One, smooth and solid is not at the expense of musical detail and information. There’s nothing soft and muddled about the Raven One’s sound.

If you’re looking for Rega-like light-weight jump, this is not the table for you. If you want to hear weight, impact and picture-clear detail, send me an offer.

The table is in perfect working condition. It’s not new and has a few marks around the arm board screw and on the under side of the platter. (The latter was made by a previous owner, does not affect the sound and cannot be seen when the platter is on the table.)
