In answer to a previous question, I don't have an owners card. I acquired these from a generous friend in the audio community.
These headphones deliver the most detailed organic punch I've ever heard. The bio-cellulose driver combined with a wooden cup and the open back design is magic. The whole mix comes through fully and cleanly. The distinct placement of instruments in the mix brings songs to life like I've never heard them before.
Comes in the original hard case, with an alternate set of ear pads to tune the sound to your liking. Stock cable included.
These were originally b-stock due to a nick in the aluminum above the left ear cup. (pictured) They were never dropped or roughly treated, and always stored in the case. They look and sound like the first time I opened the case.

The top of the leather headband in both pictures 1 and 9 appears to show some kind of white mark and a possible hole? Fortunately ZMF sells this part if it cannot be fixed. Can you please examine this on the actual headphones? If it is a stain, photo effect or damage can you please describe it? Thank you for your time. Sure thing. I believe you have the same question as the last person, which lets me know a few people are seeing it the same way. All of the leather is in beautiful condition, and won't need to be replaced. The apparent white "mark" in the picture is the light shining off of the contour of the letter "a" branded into the headband by ZMF. Here's a picture of the same thing on a different headphone to illustrate what I mean.

| Is there also a scuff or something on the top of the leather on the head band? In the first picture it looks like there’s a white discoloration or something. Thanks! All the leather (lambskin) in beautiful shape. The top band is branded on the left with "ZMF" and on the right with a lower case "a" for Auteur. The white is a reflection on the contour of the leather. |
| Do you know what is the wood type of this headphones? These are African Mahogany. It's a hard light wood. |
