Pass Labs XA25 Power Amplifier

Lightly used and beautiful Pass Labs XA25 solid state amplifier for sale, a pure Class A design that has been rated Class A on Stereophile’s Recommended Components list for several years.  I am the second owner, I purchased it from the original owner in January, 2019. He bought it in 2017 and had put about 300 hours on it, and I have used it even less than that. You can read all the rave reviews on line (see links below). I have been strictly a tube guy for 40 years and this is the first solid state amplifier that I have thoroughly enjoyed. It’s rated as 25 watts, but Stereophile tests revealed output of 80 watts into 8 ohms and 140 watts into 4 ohms, which is probably why so many reviewers have been amazed at how well it drives their Magnepans and other low-efficiency, 4-ohm speakers. I have used it with my efficient, 8-ohm Devore Super 9s and it’s also a great match. Some quotes from TAS: “…prepare to luxuriate in pure liquid musicality…ability to transform a listening space into a three-dimensional tableaux of images and ambience.” I’ve rated its condition as 8 to be conservative, but it can easily pass for 9 (no pun intended), there are no nicks or scratches.  I have a non-smoking, non-pet home.
