Rare opportunity to own a pair of Signature Collection Dunlavy Audio Laboratories SC-IV speakers. These units are in very good to excellent condition. The cabinets do not have any significant scratches and the grill cloths are in very good shape. Only a few very small, minor snags. The drivers are in excellent condition with very few signs of wear. I am the second owner of these speakers.
Since these speakers are now approximately 25 years old, the rubber surround of the woofers had begun to degrade over time. A sympathetic replacement was done in 2020 to retain stock performance and a clean look.
Delivery Options – Pickup or Shipping:
I am open to a home pickup of the speakers if a buyer is in driving range. Note that each speaker weighs approximately 180 pounds, so please bring a second person to assist in loading the speakers into your vehicle.
For shipping, I will alert the buyer to the cost after the units have been properly palleted and the shipping company has provided a final quote. I am estimating the shipping cost to be in the $650 range, depending on the delivery address.

| Can I ask what you did with the old woofer with degraded surround?
Just curious, did you replace the surround or whole woofer?
Thank you I replaced all the original woofers (Morel MW1075) with matching contemporary versions of the original (MW1076.) The old woofers not only had degraded surrounds but also voice coil dust filters. Impossible to clean the internal gaps of those magnet systems. So refurbing the originals was impossible. The replacements sound amazingly clean, detailed, and go lower than the orignals. Expect another 20 years of usable life. |
