Selling my Cary Audio CAD-280 SA V-12R stereo amp. I originally bought July 2017 from Cary, I believe it was a trade-in. Bought w/ warranty which has expired. Vast majority of my listening is on weekend mornings.
Factory Specs: 68 lbs - 9" Height - 12" Wide - 20" Deep Push-Pull Triode or Ultra-linear Amplification in Pure Class A 50 watts - Triode Mode 100 watts - Ultra-linear Mode Input Sensitivity - 1.3 volts for full output Input Impedance - 150,000 ohms Upgraded when I bought at Cary 4 x 22uF 1000V Jensen oil caps 8 x 1200v Hexfred diodes ultra fast soft recovery

| Hi, can this amp be bridged to mono? About how many hours for the tube used in this amp? Thank you. I know Cary sells this amp in mono version but there's no switch or anything in the manual on how to convert to mono. You would have to ask Cary.
As to hours on the tubes, I don't know. there have been months when I used other amps, but basically only used about 6-8 hrs a week. |
