Up for you consideration is one of the greatest CD player, DAC and preamplifier in very good conditions,

I have had this CD player for some time and have had no issues with it at all, it works very well.  It does have a few very small nicks and imperfections on the face plate which are pictured, look very carefully. It comes from a Smoke free, pet free environment and has been well cared for.     

Original boxes, power cord and remote and owners manual are included. 

Transport and DAC, Class A preamp with analogue volume control without the need for separate DAC and preamp.

This unit is also ready for computer audio via USB All sections can be bypassed so you can use your own DAC or Preamp if  desired.

The CD5s isn’t a “regular CD player.” It has both digital and analog inputs. This means that the CD5s is designed to operate as a DAC and a preamp. Much is made of a choke-loaded power supply, good news in my experience, multiple stages of voltage regulators, and multiple transformers. The features even include “separate analog output stage for left and right channel,” which I take to mean “dual mono” or separate power supplies.

The Ayon CD-5s establishes another benchmark in triode vacuum-tube CD-Player performance by combining a true balanced and single-ended tube output stage with tube rectified current sources in the power supply.
