MHDT Laboratory Orchid dac upgrade service - greatly improves sonic performance

If you own the MHDT Orchid dac I can perform an upgrade that will take the performance of this dac to another level while maintaining this dac’s wonderful musicality and strengths.  The upgrade improves the overall resolution and inner detail dramatically and expands the soundstage in all directions.  
Dynamics are also improved nicely.  I have done this for over a dozen fellow Agoners and all loved the results. You can send me your dac or have Linear Tube Audio (USA dealer) send your new unit directly to me.  LTA knows me and has sent me several units. 
I have worked with MHDT to determine the best bang for the dollar upgrades in terms of which parts can really benefit from upgrading. Here is what I will do for your Orchid:   
- output capacitors upgraded to a combo of VH Audio V-Cap  2.2uf Odam and .01uf CuTF 
 - 8 key location resistors around the tube are replaced with a carefully tested and sonically optimized package of resistors including Vishay nude Zfoil, Audio Note non-magnetic tantalum, and Shinkoh resistors.    
Once paid I order the parts and perform the upgrade the day the parts are in.   I ship it back to you the next day. We time the shipment of your Orchid so I get it on or close to the same day the parts arrive.  Fast turnaround is the goal.     
Look up the parts cost yourself and see the cost is over $400. These are great sounding parts and picked to maximize the sonic performance of your Orchid.   Total upgrade cost is $525 plus $20 for shipping the Orchid back to you.  
The increase in sound quality is not subtle, it will help you want to keep this dac for years to come. It is really a great little dac in stock form and the perfect candidate for this sort of upgrade.
