I had this turntable sell previously, but I made a mistake in packing it. When the customer received the table there were scratches on the plinths. I then refunded the customer(he didn’t want to wait a month for the repair and was gracious with a refund) and had the Pro shipped to the factory to get repaired. Now this turntable is in excellent condition and it will come packaged from the factory.
Here is the ad I had posted: This is a sad day that I have to part ways with what I consider to be the best turntable in the world. Due to financial issues I have to part with my Kronos Pro. Frankly, it was an honor to simply have owned such a wonderful component. I have enjoyed many hours listening deep into the music as only the Kronos Pro can do. This table is 192/250 of these tables to be made. I am including the 12” Black Beauty tonearm and carbon fiber arm board as the designer Louis Desjardins selected for the Pro. The Air Tight Opus 1 cartridge is not included in the price, but I may sell it if the price offer is right.

If you have not heard the Kronos Pro, I recommend you read the reviews of the Pro and the Sparta and you will begin to understand how special this turntable is. In addition, the Pro is well regarded in the high end community and is used in the best sounding rooms at high end audio shows. It is shocking how many best sound of show awards have been given with the Kronos Pro as part of the system! It really is as close to the master recordings as one can get.
This turntable is in excellent condition and I am the original owner. I have kept it in a dedicated smoke free, pet free, and kid free listening room. I have all of the original packaging and the flight case for the turntable. Total Retail Price - $70,300 I also have an XLR output block that I will include for free. This will give the option to choose between RCA or XLR outputs. PLEASE no low ball offers or trades. I do need money, but I am not going to part with something I love so much that easily. I will only sell it for a fair price to someone who is going to appreciate what a wonderful work of audio art and sound this turntable truly is.

| What was damaged and what was replaced at the factory?
Who is the table sonically?
Will the same damage happen during shipping again ? There were mild scratches on the plinth that were caused from the feet rubbing against the plinth. I had foam on one side, but they shipped it upside down and the feet although in plastic rubbed against the brushed aluminum on the plinths. THe feet weren’t supposed to be removed is what I found out. There are also special shipping instructions that Kronos will send you that I found out after the fact. Kronos was very gracious in agreeing to disassemble the table and have all the aluminum re-brushed and the anodized to match. It will be just like a new Kronos Pro with the aluminum. The aluminum is really the most obvious place fro damage to occur. The table is sonically sound of course. This was only cosmetic damage. |
