Original owner and purchased from an authorized dealer in 2017. I chose the pro version because I think it looks cooler and is easier to use. The Pro version is the same as the consumer version except the front has a rack mounted plate, handles, and front mounted standby button. The consumer version was a Stereophile class A when I bought it and once you hear it you will understand why. The P1 Pro is a MOSFET Class A/B design dual mono power amplifier. Google the internal pictures and you can really see the dual mono config.
