Hanss Acoustics T-10 Turntable Walnut - Belt Drive, Aluminum SubPlatter, (Without Tonearm)

There are (5) images of the Hanss Acoustics T-10 rated 10/10 Table for sale, it was sealed in its box - removed to inspect the contents of the Box, take images, and test its 12 Volt Synchronous motor- which spins!  All other posted images are of my Demo T-10 Walnut and my T-10 Piano Black Table. The Hanss T-10 Table has not had its Aluminum SubPlatter with its 7/8" Thick Acrylic Platter mounted to its Plinth since the top of its Bronze bearing and housing is sealed with clear plastic - can be seen in (1) image Labeled 10/10 Table inside its NEW T-10 BOX & Packaging.

The Acrylic Dustcover is slightly bent inward approximately 1/8" on the left Center side and a 1/16th" inward on the right-center side, the image only shows the left side.

Previous Authorized Hanss Acoustics Dealer - This 10/10 rated T-10 was purchased New in February 2021 directly from the USA Hanss Acoustics Importer.

T-10 also includes Hanss manufactured 3 position ArmMount, it Fit's ALL REGA 3 Position Tonearms! (with (3) Machine bolts). Rega's arms Do Not include the correct Machine Screws! They only provide wood Screws to attach to their MDF Plinths! AKA Table Base. Also Fits ALL New Origin Live Tonearms with a Large NUT! which are secured underneath the Plinth see image

I removed the contents of this NEW T-10 that was sealed in its box and Packaging to inspect and take pictures on 2/15/21, (After it was removed from its box it's no longer considered NEW per Audiogon's Condition category) verified the motor spins, with the supplied AC/AC Wall Wart Transformer. Also checked Acrylic Dust Cover for shipping damage and it's 1.63" H (1 5/8" Thick) Walnut Veneered covered MDF Plinth (AKA Turntable Base). Factory placed a clear plastic seal on top of its Bronze Bearing housing to protect it. 

Hanss Acoustics Aluminum Sub Platter:

With European Ceramic Shaft. the Shaft inserts into the Brass Bearing located inside the center of the Plinth - See images. 

Note: All turntable Manufactures at this price point use MDF or various materials in their Plinths that are various thicknesses from 11/16" - 1".  Most Turntable Manufacturers design their plinths with Fixed Feet Non- Adjustable Feet. Which makes it more difficult to Level their Turntable. Priced from $400 - $1000., 

Other Manufactures Sub Platters:

Most are Manufactured from molded Black Plastic with integrated Plastic Spindles. Typically 7/16 -  3/4" in thickness.  This is standard practice in the industry for the overwhelming turntables priced below $1000. not including a tonearm!  

Turntables with Aluminum Sub Platters start at $1000. Excluding a Tonearm. 

Rega P6 Table - Alumimum SubPlatter, Aluminum Spindle. Plinth thickness 5/8 - 1"? made from their proprietary Tancast 8 Foamcore. Rega P6 Table sells for $1,595 with their highly regarded RB330 Tonearm $595.  does not include a Phono Cartridge at that price.

Hanss Acoustics T-10 Bearing

There are two magnetic rings each has an Opposing magnet, one ring is attached to the bottom of the Aluminum SubPlatter, and the other Ring with its opposing magnet is on top of the Bearing housing on top of the plinth. Please refer to the image of my T-10 Piano Black Table you can clearly see that the platter is elevated above the plinth. A Stainless Steel Ball fits into the bottom of the Bronze bearing from the underside of the plinth.  Ball Height is adjustable with the Knurled Knob and the Knurled Ring that screws over the Bearing Housings threads and locks the knob into place! see images.
