ProAc Studio 150 loudspeakers

These are the well-reviewed (in the UK, at least) ProAc Studio 150s, which I originally purchased in 1997 in London and used as part of a 5.1 home theater system over a period of about 20 years.

These speakers are in excellent condition, with no visible marks, indents, chips, and that includes the bottom mounts, where wear and tear is most likely to happen. Seriously, they look like they just came out of the original packing, even though they are getting on for almost 25 years old. All that said, I couldn't bring myself to select the Excellent condition for speakers that old. But they are in really great condition and they still sound really nice.

Note that these speakers do not have the ProAc logo on the front covers, as I special ordered without branding. In person, if you look very closely, you can see (in the upper right corner on the right speaker and upper left on the left speaker) where the original logos was affixed, but if you didn't know to look you wouldn't notice it. I have a long-standing aversion to in-your-face branding and always try to avoid it, where possible. My UK dealer was very accomodating.

I'm in the process of dismantling my home theater in favor of a more up-to-date 2-channel system, so I'm hoping I can find these Studio 150s a new home. They still sound pretty damn nice, though they're probably not quite the equal of some of ProAc's more up to date and more expensive offerings.

I expect that getting these sold will be a bit of a challenge, as I don't have the original cartons, so shipping is not an option.

I am located in the St. Louis, MO metro area (Belleville, IL), so local pickup is the only option for delivery. The only situation where I would be prepared to ship is if you have access to the original cartons and send them to. I know the chances of that are very remote, but wanted to offer it as a possibility, because I know there are ProAc fans out there who greatly admire this particular speaker, long discontinued.
