I highly regard EAD products! I feel they are some of the best sounding equipment and best values in the used high end audio market.
This unit is in nice shape with minimal scratches and dings, but has a few surface mars on top cover which are more noticeable. Most flaws are hard to see in the pictures as the camera did not capture them readily.
I own several TheaterMasters, a DVD-Master, CD 1000, DSP 7000 DAC, and a PowerMaster 1000 amplifier. I need to sell some of these units because lack of use (and mainly my wife is nagging me).
This is a nice sounding EAD TheaterMaster Pre-amp / DAC / Surround Sound Processor. I used it for the high quality DAC and pre-amp for mainly 2 channel listening, the sound quality is hard to beat at this price!
This is similar to the older EAD TheaterMaster Encore series, but with sonic improvements and volume and input controls on the faceplate.
I do not have the original remote but am including the same model remote EAD uses which is the Proton SRC-2000 (excluding the EAD logo). It is not programmed for the TheaterMaster and currently does not control any functions on the TheaterMaster 6000. There are programs to download online to code it to the TheateMaster remote functions, which I have never tried to do, I do not have the programming base. Noble Electronics who services EAD products may also program the remote.
