ExactPower Systems EP-15a Power Regulator with AVR [Free Shipping]

Price reduced & with FREE SHIPPING to the Lower 48. Freshly re-capped (the ten small regulator caps and the two large power reserve/storage caps) ExactPower EP15. Silver with some obvious scratches and signs of wear on the brushed aluminum top cover. Pretty easy to refinish but this unit shows obvious signs of wear on the top and sides. Easy to see, but wanted to fully disclose. All my images are high resolution, so click into them if you want to zoom-in.
The display has four modes. The one not shown is where the front display is simply 'off'. The others (output voltage, output amperage, and output wattage) are easily seen and update in real time. 
It's got a massive toroidal transformer and a complex series of filters and chokes inside. It's built to last and has a new lease on life with the cap replacement. Any ExactPower unit will need one at this age. Period.   
Tested with a small class-D amp and streamer. Works fine.
The ExactPower only regenerates the top 1/2-1/3 of the AC sine wave. So it runs very cool and generates far less heat than other full-wave regenerators. Can supply up to 15amp steady state for an indefinite period. Due to the large storage caps, it can actually supply more energy to your high current devices (yes, this is designed specifically for power amps and all outputs are non-inductive) than the wall outlet can for very short periods. It also has AVR and true surge suppression with self diagnostic capabilities.
All fuses have been replaced with new ceramic bussman fuses. The unit is heavy, so shipping costs are not insignificant. It will be well packaged. Ships from 75071.
