Restored by a 30-year cabinet maker and veteran sound
designer    

Construction:

• Finished in rotary walnut with 4 coats of conversion lacquer.
  
• Both front and back were wet sanded and finished in flat
  poly for durability.
• The Veneer edges were wrapped in both the front and back for
  a cleaner look.
• The cheap (ugly) Velcro grille mounts were updated with clean
  looking snap-ins.
• The new grille frames are made of MDO (Medium Density Overlay)
  plywood- not the cheaper MDF which often easily broke.
• Matching stands with padding and standoffs.
• New JBL face badges
•  

Drivers:

• The tweeters were just re-coned.
• Both the woofers and midranges are original and extremely
  clean - so they were left alone
• Crossovers were recapped with French Solen caps to the original
  specification.
• Replaced the cheap factory terminals with updated binding
  posts and were moved to the lower portion of the cabinet.

• Will ship in custom wooden crates only to assure safe transportation
  in the lower 48 only.
