VPI Industries HW-19 mkIV w/new Jelco 750EB and SAMA!

Classic HW19 MkIV. I hate to sell this, but my spouse is about to start a career change and selling my audio gear will help ease her financial anxiety somewhat. This table is an incredible performer with excellent pitch stability, completely impervious to the room and with backgrounds as silent as the grave. Once set up and dialed in, it's fantastic and ranks

Here's some of the particulars:

All chassis springs replaced with latest VPI elastomer suspension devices

All new HRX bearing, shaft and bearing housing

MkIV platter (18lbs - lead impregnated)

Steel sub-chassis

New Jelco 750 EB tonearm with Morrow PH4 cabling (no ground wire needed)
Again, I had to drill a new hole in the armboard to accommodate the longer Jelco. There is an existing hole in the armboard that you'll have to deal with. Makes no difference sonically.

Nobsound Suspension Springs for plinth (I also have the Herbie's Labs "Tenderfeet')

Stand Alone Motor Assembly (SAMA) 2nd edition triangular- recently sent to VPI and certified as excellent

Custom-made dustcover in immaculate condition. I don't place anything on top of it.

In the spirit of full disclosure, the outer frame has one blemish on the left side near the back of the table. You don't notice it from the front and it in no way effects the performance of the table. See the pic, about the size of the eraser on a pencil. To fit the Jelco, I rotated the armboard 180 and drilled new holes after careful, exhaustive consultation with VPI and Audiogon members.

It will ship in three boxes, one with the table and arm, one with the SAMA, and one with the dustcover. The table is heavy and will be a bit pricey to ship; we can negotiate a flat free with me refunding the difference.

I'd also be happy to meet you within 4 hours of the St. Louis area. If you're within an hour or so, I can deliver and help set up. If you meet my asking price I will include an older Benz Micro Ace SH cartridge I don't use anymore.
