Bricasti Design M1 Limited Gold Edition

This special limited gold edition of the M1 is an exceptional DAC (sitting at the top of the M1 line) that became even better in early 2021 when it was upgraded, by Bricasti at its shop, with their new MDx digital board that has been very positively reviewed — see  https://positive-feedback.com/audio-discourse/bricasti-design-mdx-board-update/.

I purchased this DAC in the summer of 2020 on Audiogon and believe I am the second owner.  It has been treated reverently and is performing beautifully with the new soundboard, which improved the sound quality and sound staging exceeding its original performance when new.  Under Bricasti’s long established policy, the next owner should be eligible for upgrades by Bricasti at very reasonable prices (the MDx soundboard upgrade was $1,000), making this DAC as future-proof as possible.
I have no logical reason to sell, but I have purchased a new DAC adding tubes to my system and so here it is, offered below Bluebook — with the asking price reduced again today.
