Audio Research D400 Solid State power amp. 400 WPC in to 4 ohms. 60 amp peak at 1 ohm. Quite a power house. I've owned the amp for 20 years but with high efficiency speakers I no longer need anything near this powerful. 15 years ago 2 of the output transistors were replaced by a quality electronic repair shop in Denver, (too bad such places don't seem to exist any more. The unit has played flawlessly since the repair. The attached power cord is loose as the plastic grommet holding it to the back panel is cracked, no damage to the wiring. Original AR boxing and manual. Rated 5/10 due to age, still sounds very good. With shipping weight at 90 pounds expect to pay at least $150 depending on the distance from East Tennessee.
