Theta Digital Dreadnaught D - Platinum Pair

For sale is a flawless pair of the mighty Theta Digital Dreadnaught D. Both amps are in stereo configuration (2 channels each) and Platinum color. With this set you can power an awesome front sound stage for your home theater or bi-amp a pair of speakers in stereo. The sound these put out is clean, dynamic, and powerful. You will not be disappointed.     

Each Dreadnaught D contains 2 HypeX NCore 1200 single channel amplifier modules each with their own power supply (2 power supplies per chassis). Each chassis has room for 2 additional amplifier modules in either Mono, Stereo, or Bridged Mono. Meaning you can add anywhere from 1 to 4 additional channels to each chassis to suit your needs.  

Based on the tech from the Prometheus Monoblock, these 2 amps as configured are essentially 4 Prometheus Monoblocks housed in 2 chassis. The amplifier modules are identical to Prometheus, and each half of the chassis has its own completely independent power supply consisting of a 1.18kVA toroidal transformer, 40,000µF of power-supply reservoir capacitance, and two 30A rectifiers. This is almost identical to the Prometheus power supply but with more capacitance and slightly less kVA. Each power supply in the Dreadnaught D requires its own power cable.

These amps were certified and tested by Theta Digital (ATI) at their facility in Montebello, California as of 6/16/2021. They will arrive in brand new original packaging with 2 power cables each (4 cables total).   

The serial numbers on the boxes and invoice can be called in to Theta to verify their authenticity, ownership, and date of service.   

Power Output:
8 ohms: 225W RMS per channel with less than 0.05% THD from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. 
4 ohms: 375W RMS per channel with less than 0.05% THD from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. 
2 ohms 500W RMS per channel with less than 0.05% THD from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
