Sansui AU-517

NEW LOWER PRICE!!!!  MUST SELL!!! You will NOT find a cleaner one at this price ANYWHERE!           Up for your kind consideration is a very clean vintage Sansui AU-517 Integrated Amplifier. I was shocked when I bought it as to just how clean it was when I unboxed it, as they are VERY HARD to find in this condition! I chose the "GOOD" rating even though I believe it deserves a solid "VERY GOOD!" I bought it from a very respectable person who specializes in acquiring & servicing only vintage audio. This particular unit was serviced just prior to me buying it one year ago by a 40 year veteran technician from McIntosh Labs in Binghampton, New York, you know the name/brand! She performs flawlessly and with the dual mono block design, the separation of sound and the sonic's it can produce is arguably one of the best from this time period of great Japanese products in my humble opinion, which I'm sure many will agree with. Sansui was known for over building and purposely under rating the actual watts per channel, so as to out sell their direct competitors, such as Kenwood, Pioneer, etc. Of course good cables and speakers make a huge difference, that goes without saying? I've been using it to drive a pair of 30th anniversary Paradigm Inspiration speakers, one pair of only 300 made worldwide! It made them literally sing. The front face plate and all knobs were removed, cleaned and polished. All pots were cleaned and lubed. All switches are tight and function just as they should. The entire inside of the unit was thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. Nothing was left undone. The technician only replaced what he thought it needed and said that in his experience, don't fix what is not broken. Included will be a very good reproduced owner's manual in a plastic binder. It will also come with genuine Sansui rack handles that I purchased after the fact that I paid $80.00 for. If you have any issues, which I do NOT believe that you will, after you make this purchase, please contact me and we can make things right as I only want you to be happy! I still have the original packing box/materials that it came in. It will be VERY securely packaged to arrive to you as described here, barring a UPS or FedEx truck wrecking on the way. I will ship ONLY to the lower 48 United States, most likely FedEx as I believe I can get a slightly better price with them.
