An ultra low noise, fully balanced, top tier phono stage from Boulder, the predecessor to their $19,000 1108 model. I bought this from Soundings in Denver, and it is perfect. I won't launch into a list of superlatives and adjectives, but I'll say this: this piece proved my preconceptions of the "Boulder sound" to be wrong. It is lovely and authoritative at the same time.
