For sale is a McIntosh MC452 power amplifier in excellent condition. There is some light wear to the handle edges, 2 tiny dings on top front plate, and a couple dust sized nicks on the top of the heat sinks. Barely worth mentioning.
Great sounding amp! Much better than the MC252 and MA352 I’ve also had. Wide and deep soundstage, lots of power, control, and detail, but retains the renowned warm McIntosh tone. It also hardly even gets warm. I am downsizing to an integrated, otherwise this would be a keeper.
I am the second owner. Manufacture date is 9/2015 according to McIntosh.
