We have a pair of Jeff Rowland Model 3 solid state mono block power amps up for sale. We got these from the original owner who purchased them new. They tested just fine on our Sound Technology test panel and they easily put out their rated power of 100 watts RMS into 8 ohms. After testing them we ran them for several hours on music and observed no problems. Testing cold the next morning they still worked as they should!
Cosmetically we'd give them a very strong 7, perhaps a 7.5 on the rather strict Audiogon scale. Just a few scratches here and there.
Serial numbers are 401 and 402 and we purchased these from the
original owner. He told us that he never had them ''repaired'' but sent
them for ''service'' in January 1990 for updates. A business called
Classic Creations in Colorado Springs Colorado. for $500 (in 1990 dollars!)
did the following ''Full update w/new back panels etc. New wire and
impedance Matching input for C1 II preamp'' They came to us in their original shipping crates and we will add a heavy duty double wall cardboard box on each to ensure safe delivery. Our packing is always the best and nothing ever arrives from us damaged in transit. We promise they will arrive working properly and look exactly as described.
Heavy duty IEC AC power cords (probably the original ones) and one original owner's manual are included but not shown.
If prepaid local pick up or free delivery within 50 miles (each way) from us in Berkeley CA. is available. If shipped we use FedEx and just charge our real costs.
