Mark Levinson No 380S Preamplifier
For sale Mark Levinson legendary 380s preamp which in 1997 John Atkinson at Stereophile was impressed by how little it got in the way of the music and even went bit further. At the time he confidently recommended the No 380S as his solid-state preamplifier of choice. Graded 8/10 just due to age.
This one has been well taken care of and is a fine example. I am the original owner in a smoke free home. Pre-Amp functions perfectly without issue showing only minor shelf wear. It still looks new and sounds beautiful. The remote, original power cord, and owners manual are included in original box. There is no corrosion in the remote as like many Levinson's. I took great care to change batteries routinely. One note the Preamp does not have a Levinson phono stage. An outboard phono pre-amplifier maybe used to one of six inputs.
There are both balanced and single ended inputs and outputs. Six source inputs and a very clever tape loop to isolate a component like an equalizer without tying up the amp connections. Inputs can be named, gain can be adjusted, Display can be dimmed or turned off.

(18dB gain setting); 3.3V on XLR, 1.6V on RCA (12dB gain); 6.6V on XLR, 3.3V on

ohms. Output impedance: <50 ohms. THD+N: <0.001%. Channel separation, any
