Lipinski L-301 Mono Block Amplifiers
One Amp Needs Repair

One of these amps works fine, the other has an issue. Both are in great physical shape.

The troubled amp will need to be professionally repaired. It started as passing some intermittent scratching/static sound a few months back. I took it to a local amplifier tech, who tested it and says everything tests fine, and couldn't run down the source of the problem. Recently the scratchy sound has escalated to all-out mayhem (pops/clicks/buzz/static) and I can't use them. I have it on good authority that the issue is with the low-pass filter card needing to be replaced.
I simply don't have the time (or a tech near me with the inclination) to fix the amp with the issue, so I'm replacing these with a stereo power amp that can do bi-amping. I do hate to see these go. There is nothing like mono blocks.
For someone who wants a great pair of bi-amp-able mono blocks, this is a steal. I purchased them about 10 years ago for $5,000 for the pair, and that was a deal b/c they were demos. I believe they sold for around $7,500/pair brand new (15 years ago).
These are Class D amps with tons of power/headroom and run cool. They're hefty, but not unmanageable (33lbs each).

The listed price is for what's pictured: both amps plus two pair of hi-fi/bi-wired cable. The cables are four feet, so you'll need to place these amps near the speakers.
I'll cover shipping the continental United States. You won't find a better deal on boutique mono blocks that can drive everything...you just need to fix one of them!
